Dr Ömer Batın Gözübüyük

Sports Physician Specialist

Ömer joined the MP Sports Physicians team in 2020, after moving from Turkey where he was working with elite soccer clubs and Turkish national youth teams at a professional level. He was a member of the Istanbul University Sports Medicine department between 2011-2019, first as a registrar, and then as a staff specialist and lecturer. Since 2020 Omer has been a fellow of the Australasian College of Sports and Exercise Physicians.

Completing an additional Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and finishing post-graduate courses in neural therapy and ultrasound, Ömer enjoys investigating healthcare and musculoskeletal concerns in a wider perspective and utilises a broad range of treatment modalities including neuromodulation therapies, myofascial approaches, orthobiological injections and all ultrasound guided procedures.
