Dr Ladan Abbasian
Sports Physician Specialist
Ladan completed her sports medicine training at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and earned her fellowship in 2015. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in managing musculoskeletal injuries and acute/chronic musculoskeletal pain in adults and adolescents. Additionally, she has collaborated with orthopedic surgeons to implement postoperative rehabilitation programs, aiding patients in a quicker recovery. Passionate about applying athlete healthcare principles to the general population, she emphasizes exercise programs as the primary treatment for most chronic injuries. Ladan is particularly interested in exercise-based preventive programs aimed at reducing musculoskeletal pain and disability among the general population and athletes, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. She takes pleasure in assisting patients of all ages and sports, with a goal to advocate for exercise as a lifelong prescription for good health and healthy lifestyle. In her personal life Ladan enjoys jogging, dancing and playing badminton. She has also played volleyball and badminton in local teams in Iran for several years.
